Valentine {Ribbon} Wreath

January 13, 2011 By Stacy 52 Comments

A new holiday, a new ribbon wreath!!
As you may recall my Christmas ribbon wreath was a whopping 18 inches and needed tons and tons of ribbon, so for Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d go a little more low key and do a 10 inch wreath. I used much less ribbon with this wreath as well. One thing to keep in mind is that the smaller the width of the ribbon you use, the more ribbon you need to fill up the wreath. I ended up having a moderate amount of extras.  I am going to go to Target and see if I can find a wreath stand I like and try to hang it from there on my entry table. If you need any tips or tricks for making your own wreath check out this post, this post, and the Tatertots & Jello post that originally inspired me!
Of course if you don’t want to make one yourself, or if you’d like to make one from a pre-formulated & pre-sewn kit – you can find both in my store!

Love the wreath! The colors are fabulous. Still trying to find a “step-by-step” link or tutorial on how to actually make one. The link for Tatertots & Jello doesn’t show the information. I’ve only seen pictures so far on what the finished wreath looks like or a pic for the sewn together loops of ribbon. Nothing showing the instructions on how to make one. thanks!

Hi! I am working on a detailed step by step. Up until recently I sold the wreaths and therefore did not post detailed instructions.
