A new holiday, a new ribbon wreath!!
As you may recall my Christmas ribbon wreath was a whopping 18 inches and needed tons and tons of ribbon, so for Valentine's Day, I thought I'd go a little more low key and do a 10 inch wreath. I used much less ribbon with this wreath as well. Only 1 - 1.5", 6 - 1", and 2 - 5/8" width varieties. I also only cut 8 feet of ribbon in each colors instead of 9. One thing to keep in mind is that the smaller the width of the ribbon you use, the more ribbon you need to fill up the wreath. I ended up having a moderate amount of extras (1 of the 1" and both of the 5/8" ribbons were just left overs from a custom Christmas wreath I had made for someone, so I didn't even use anywhere near 8 feet of those ribbons). I am going to go to Target and see if I can find a wreath stand I like and try to hang it from there on my entry table. If you need any tips or tricks for making your own wreath check out this post, this post, and the Tatertots & Jello post that originally inspired me!
