Fun with {Printables} – Cutlery Wraps

June 27, 2011 By Stacy 5 Comments

seriously cannot believe that we are at the 1 week countdown to Independence Day (which, side note, is one of my all time favorite movies)! I mean, wasn’t it just Easter? Anywho….I am bringing you the next in my series of How to use printables, you can check out my gumball favor, pie bunting, and cone wrapper tutorials to help you plan for your next party, 4th of July or otherwise, these tutorials are universal! I, however, am currently working on a neighborhood 4th of July dessert party and in LOVE with using the July 4th collection from Lauren McKinsey!

Today I am going to show you a 2nd use for bottle wrappers! A cost cutting measure for a larger party is to not serve individual drinks and bottles of water, but larger quantity drinks like lemonade other drinks in pitchers, which we will be doing for the July 4th celebration. I didn’t want to miss out on using the awesome designs in the collection so instead of wrapping them around bottle, I am using the designs as cutlery wraps!

Supplies:
Bottle wrappers printable – mine are from Lauren McKinsey
Paper cutter or scissors
Tape
Napkins
Cutlery
Start by cutting out your wrappers – I printed out the bottle wrappers at 80% to make them 1.5 inches wide.
Then roll up your cutlery pieces – here is how I do it, but I am sure there better ways. I start by laying the silverware upside down to the side of the napkin.
Then I roll them over, fold the bottom corner up, and then wrap the left side around.
Wrap your bottle wrapper around the napkin, folding over any excess paper you have, and securing it with tape.
Throw ’em all in a decorated bucket and place them on your buffet or as a centerpiece on each table for easy grabbing for all your guests. This would be really fun to do for a picnic, too!
Stay tuned tomorrow for the last in my series, along with a great GIVEAWAY!!!!

That is a great idea! We usually do tea or lemonade at parties too so I don’t normally use the bottle wrappers. I’ll have to remember this for our next party:)
