- Love this theme! My favorite camping memory is from when I was little and my sister and I would go camping w/ our Dad… Two little girls out in the middle of the woods getting firewood w/ our Step-mom when the LOUDEST growl you can imagine echoed through the trees. It was a Bear! We couldn’t see where it was, all we knew is that we had to make it to the top of the hill to the road for safety. Of course the time I really needed my climbing abilities to come in handy, my legs failed me. I was so scared, I practically couldn’t move. It was right then we heard Dad laughing so hard at us because HE was the Grizzly Bear growling from behind a tree! We were so mad, we wouldn’t even speak to him… Now every time I think of camping, that is the one memory that always comes rushing back to leave a smile on my face. 😀

My favorite camping memory was staying at my grandparent’s camper in a little resort about 20 minutes from our house. I remember they had this little yellow alarm clock that made a louder than normal ticking sound.
