Mini Baby {Shower} In-a-Box

August 9, 2012 By Stacy 12 Comments

I love when friends have babies! Even if the mommy-to-be already has 5 babies, each baby is worth celebrating {if you ask me}. So when one of friends, we go all the way back to 6th grade, found out she was finally having another girl I dug through some boxes of old baby clothes to see what I could send her. I hit the jackpot with 3, new with tags still on, infant swimsuits! Even more perfect they live in Florida with a pool in their backyard so you KNOW little baby girl is going to be an instant bathing beauty. While in the middle of getting ready to stick the swimsuits in an envelope I decided that I wanted to make this package way more fun so I created a Mini Baby Shower In-a-Box for her! How fun, right?
Here is how I did it!
I started with a white bakery box

Made a little “party” logo to slap on the inside of the lid

Close up of the fun “party” logo

Packaged up some party goodies along with the swimsuits

Made a little 1 layer diaper cake with Newborn sized {itty bitty} diapers

What’s a party without a party favor? I reused a small mason jar and added a “party” logo circle to the lid & wrapped up some fun paper straws with twine to match

I rolled up the suits and tied them with pretty ribbon

And there you go – a Mini Baby Shower In-a-Box!

Ohh adorable! I haven’t done a party in a box yet, but I saw one for a birthday and decided I must do that for a friend that will be out of town for his upcoming b-day. I just pinned your post though because I LOVE the baby shower idea as well. 🙂
