    My girls and I have been baking cookies and small loaf cakes for everyone in our neighborhood (15 families now!) for the past 6 years. Our favorites are gingerbread cookies, sugar cookies, banana bread, and peppermint chocolate cookies.

    I love making cupcakes! I will whip a batch at any excuse I have. My current aspiration is to perfect a Swiss Meringue Buttercream but the task is daunting at best without a stand mixer. 😉

    My 3 kids and I make a cookie called Santa Surprises! It’s a peanut butter base with snickers mini wrapped inside a ball of dough. My daughter also like to use milky way dark inside. Yum!!

    My little girls and I love to bake! We bake all the time but over the holidays it seems as if we are making something new every day. Cheesecakes and cut out cookies are always at the top of the list! And even though I love my Kitchenaid (it was my Great Grandmothers and is from the late 40’s early 50’s…and still works!) I would love to retire this one and use a new one!

    I love to bake so much during the holidays but if I had to pick one… It would be our long family tradition of Crusties(I know a silly name) Its a buttery pastry with cinnamon and sugar. I haven’t perfected them like gram yet!

    My favorite thing to bake is cut out cookies. Our annual tradition is for me to make them and the kids to decorate them. I think more icing ends up on them than on the cookies!
