Squinkie {Holder}

August 3, 2012 By Stacy 4 Comments

If you don’t know what Squnkies are, they are little miniature rubbery characters and animals that end up all over your house AND I’d like to trade places with you. I find them everywhere – under sofa cushions, in my washer & dryer, under my covers – every. where. I am trying to con my 2 year old into keeping them all in one place by making her this very fun Squinkie holder!! I glued a bunch of pretty scrapbook paper to a metal retro lunchbox that was on clearance at Michael’s and for the added touch of fun I even slapped a chalkboard sticker on the front. That way, when the Squinkies are gone (can’t wait for that day) and the next fad starts (because let’s be honest, we all know it will) we can just erase the name on the box and relabel it quickly and easily.

    We have Squinkies all over our house! They are always all over the kids rooms. What a great idea! I’d love for you to link up this (and any other ideas you’d like to share) at “One Creative Weekend” on OneCreativeMommy.com.
