Trim a Tree Kit in a Mason Jar

Do you know someone who needs their office spruced up for the holidays? Or maybe a friend who is having to live somewhere temporarily through the holiday season and won’t be able to have a large tree? Or maybe you just know a special kiddo in your life who really wants to have their own tree this year? This Trim-a-Tree kit in a Mason Jar is the perfect gift for any one of those situations! Plus, I’ve included a free printable tag you can add to your jar.

Supplies:Wide mouth mason jarMini ornaments, garland, & battery operated lightsPrintable Tag (download link below)Christmas pick (found in the floral department)Hammer and nailWhite CardstockScissorsRibbon or Twine

Carefully pack all your supplies in your mason jar.
Use your hammer and nail to make a hole in the center of the mason jar lid. (optional – cover the mason jar lid with a small circle of scrap paper)
Place lid and ring on the mason jar before inserting the floral pick.
Hang additional ornaments that wouldn’t fit in the jar off the floral pick.
Download, print on white cardstock, cut out, and attach gift tag with twine or ribbon.
