I had been SO excited to try this tutorial from Little Birdie Secrets (note the pass tense) until I sat down to do it last night. I mean how cute are those dish gloves? I don’t wear them but my mother-in-law does and they would be perfect to give her with the apron I made using this tutorial from Prudent Baby. But it was not meant to be. My sewing machine isn’t narrow enough to put the rubber glove around and trying to eyeball it just made for a messy line, sad. 
I even took the time to iron on the vinyl to make the material like oil cloth. I make take another pass at it, turning my sewing machine down to the slowest speed and just chugging away at it. I really wanted it to work, but I just couldn’t make it happen.
On the plus side I think the apron came out C.U.T.E! I am going to be making some Christmas aprons with this beautiful fabric that came in the mail yesterday!!!
so i realize that this is an older post but i had to comment anyway. i just got a sewing machine too!!!! i have made lots of darling pillowcases and a couple of t shirt pillows. i peeked at some of your other posts and your camera strap is stellar. i think i will be making one too.keep up the great work.
