{Easy} Peasy Holiday Cards

October 29, 2010 By Stacy Leave a Comment

Easy Peasy and they could even be free….read on to find out how

I love a good reason to send a stationary card to all of our family and friends (heck, it doesn’t even have to be a GOOD reason, I just love to send them) and the holiday time of year is like photo & greeting card GOLD! You know that I am all about making things only {kinda} crafty, and although I am in LOVE with making my own cards, announcements, printable, etc, now that I have 2 spunky, punky princesses to chase after (not to mention a full time job) I am all about outsourcing my designing this holiday season.
Now, I know what you are thinking…beautiful, creative holiday photo cards are expensive…well while that was once true, it is not anymore. I’ve been using Shutterfly since I got my first digital camera back in 2003 (or so my order history on their website tells me!) and this year I think they have totally out done themselves in the holiday card department.
In the last year or so (not sure the exact time frame) they have added probably one of my all time favorite stationary and card designers Erin Condren. Her stuff was my very first inspiration to start designing my own cards and stationery. She even has the best solution I have seen to writing the dreaded family letter in her Top Ten Moments card…BRILLIANT!

The really hard part is that they have over 700 to pick from.  So you make it easier for you, here are my top 5 favorites.
This one comes in Blue & Brown, too
Vintage Provence
There is also a BEAUTIFUL Hanukkah version on this one as well
Modern Damask
Polka Dots + Simple = Love
Chic Snowball Dots
So Bright and cheery
Holiday Lights
Subway art-ish & Pink!
Funky Christmas Pink
Probably the most original Hanukkah card I’ve seen in a long time
Hanukkah Dreidel Fun
(It was really really hard to only pick 5 so I picked 6!)
ps – if you’re going to go with the funky Christmas card, you should TOTALLY go with these Christmas gift tags, too
Now, what do I love {MORE} than a good photo card? Why, a thank you note of course! There are plenty of great photo and non-photo holiday thank you cards to pick from, too!
Holiday Window
Peppermint Bliss
How cute would the Peppermint Bliss thank you card be with a picture of your kids opening up their gifts? Or just sitting amongst the wrapped, or unwrapped boxes!! (the wheels are turning in my head, can you hear them? I think they need some WD-40!)
So blogger gals, do you want to get your own free 50 holiday cards? Click here to find out how!
