{Chalkboard} Rolled Felt Flower Frame

November 2, 2010 By Stacy 6 Comments

It is still baby season with a lot of my friends, 2010 really is the year of the baby around my social circles. So I wanted to come up with a new twist on the personalized picture frames I have been trying to send all my friends (along with a real baby gift, too). This is one of my favorites. It’s a twofer kinda of gift really. A pretty frame with rolled felt flowers {PLUS} it’s a chalkboard (and it’s pink)!! I love the fact that you can narrate what picture is in the frame or just keep it plain or with a name. I need to install  some picture ledges in my office so I can make some of these for myself as well!
I found the tutorial for the rolled felt flowers here. (her wintery wreath is drool worthy)
Materials used:

  • $1 picture frame from Michaels
  • Pink Chalkboard paint ($3.49 at Hobby Lobby)
  • 4 pieces of felt from any craft store (4/$1 at Hobby Lobby)
  • hot glue gun & glue
