Eat More Dessert Book Review and Giveaway

I am super excited to share a great book and amazing giveaway with you today. Jenny Keller, of Jenny Cookies, has just released a brand new book Eat More Dessert: More than 100 Simple-to-Make & Fun-to-Eat Baked Goods From the Baker to the Stars (Page Street Publishing; April 2014). It not only has stunning photographs and great party theme ideas, it also includes recipes that actually recreatable, promise!! Oh, and did I mention the gold foil cover? It’s definitely a book that won’t get pushed to the back of my shelf.

I adore Jenny’s baking and her party styling. It’s simple, refined, and always elegant while still fitting of the theme. When the book first arrived I couldn’t put it down. I looked at every single page, I just couldn’t stop myself. The 2nd time I went through I did so with little sticky flags, marking recipes I hope to create for parties in the future. I also decided I need more milk glass cake stands 🙂

Swooning over this perfect Ice Cream social. Jenny knows when to say when and not go overboard on loading down a table. And the playing with heights is something I really have taken away from this book.

And while I might not tackle making this gorgeous 3 scoop cake that she details for you, you can bet your bottom dollar I will be making these brownie sandwiches.

Jenny has over 100 easy recipes in her book from sugar cookies, to cake pops, cakes, and beyond. My favorite thing is that she always starts with box mix!! That’s my kind of recipe.
