Bathroom {Makeover}!!!

So I know that this isn’t a craft but I just had to share our recent master bathroom update/makeover that we did this weekend. A little back story, before Christmas our little neighborhood had a progressive holiday dinner where we visited 3 of our neighbors houses. Isn’t going in your neighbor’s house fun and voyeuristic! The 3 people that offered to host the dinner were all living without children in their homes and had actually decorated their homes, unlike ours. Now we live in a fairly new neighborhood, all the houses are 2-3 years old and there are only a handful of different floor plans and finishes, so when we walked into one of the houses I was just blown away with all the “after market” customization she had done. She graciously offered my husband and I a tour which included her master bathroom. She had the most amazing framed mirror in her bathroom and when I told her how much I loved it she told me about Mirror Mates and showed me all her samples! So that night I went online and looked up the website and how it all works and the pricing and I was SOLD! Well it took us about 2 months to finally get around to measuring and ordering the frame and then I went and picked it up because I found out they are a local Charlotte company!! And then another week to get it up on the wall (even though the entire process of putting it together and getting it up only takes about 2 hours due to the long hour you have to wait for it to dry and set). But here it is!!! It is a total transformation to our bathroom for around $200 (we have a very large mirror) which is WAY less than a custom framed mirror plus the labor it would have cost to take out the old mirror and put in the new one. So enough rambling, here are the before and after photos, which were not easy to take since it’s a long skinny space!
