20 Minute Tuesday Follow Up | Painted Mason Jar

May 11, 2013 By Stacy Leave a Comment

A quick follow-up from this week’s 20 Minute Tuesday | Painted Mason Jars. I took about 20 minutes today, maybe less, to paint yet another mason jar. This time the jar was to hold an orange and blue Gator ribbon topiary so I painted some fun orange and blue stripes on the jar using Martha Stewart craft paint that I already had in my stash.

Just tape off some stripes with washi or painter’s tape, dab your paint on with a foam pouncer, and peel the tape off while the paint is still wet. I also painted a daisy jar topper that I had in my party stash to match, it’s holding my topiary in place without having to use unsightly styrofoam.
Go Gators and bring on football season, I can hardly wait!!!
