DIY Happy Halloween Candles

October 1, 2013 By Stacy 1 Comment

It’s Tuesday! One day closer to Friday, the first day of October, and time for a little 20 Minute crafting! Today’s craft, DIY Happy Halloween Candles, will really only take about 5 minutes, so it’s a double bonus kind of day.

The supplies are easy, the crafting is easy – the only hard part was getting out of IKEA without an empty wallet.

Instructions:

You can use any plain candles you have, I picked these up at IKEA on the cheap, but you can upcycle candles you already have or buy plain candles just about anywhere. The buttons were picked up at JoAnn’s and the E6000 mini tube was found at Walmart. Just remove the buttons from the backing (the hardest part of the project) and then glue the Jack o’Lantern pieces directly to the candle. The only tip is to not use too much glue so it doesn’t ooze out everywhere. For the ghost candle I raided my daughter’s art supplies for the googley eyes and used a bit of the E6000 to attach them to the candle.
And now you are done!

Oh, and if you haven’t tried the Starburst Candy Corn yet this season, you are missing out!
