Party Prep: How to Cover a {Cupcake} Tower!!!

March 3, 2011 By Stacy 19 Comments

Here is another blog post in photos! But I just wanted to say first that the quality of your cupcake tower is of the utmost importance! The first picture is a comparison photo of the first tower I bought & covered (from Wilton) next to the tower that I ended up using for R’s Puppy & Polka Dots party (Cupcake Tree bought at Polka Dot Market).

These are just gorgeous! I’m wondering about covering the tops with some scrapbook paper? I’m nuts over scrapbook paper and want to cover my world with it 🙂 Good work on the ribbon, really love it!

To seal the ribbon could you singe it with a flame? I know some bow makers use that method with there ribbon?

Wow—that is a big difference! The Wilton one doesn’t look nearly as stable. :s Love the ribbon you chose. 🙂

I popped over from the feature on a creative girls blog hop….I love your projects and the clarity of your instructions! The pictures help me lots? I saw a cupcake stand project on the Martha stewart show using wood and it folds down for storage but lasts longer. She painted hers and edged with ribbon….you could cut out all sorts of things on your silhouette in adhesive back paper for decoration too! Love your design! New follower! Can’t wait to dig around in your past posts!
