Yup, you read that right, this is a post about a door hanger, NOT a wreath!! I wanted to make something glittery and fun for my front door for the 4th of July so I bypassed the wreath and made this fun & easy sign to hang from my door!
I started with a piece of foam board that I had laying around, cut it down with my exacto knife and used some spray adhesive to attach some blue polka dot wrapping paper from Paper Source. I also used some more Paper Source wrapping paper, this time in red glitter, to cut out “July” and “4th” and used the Silhouette Studio’s offset feature to cut out a mat in white card stock to make the red pop a little off of the blue polka dots. I painted a cardboard “4” that I picked up at Hobby Lobby with Martha Stewart’s Multi-Surface Glitter paint in Antique Silver and hot glued it to the board. To add some more 3D elements I used some jewelry wire that I picked up at Walmart for $1 to add the printed out fireworks graphic from the side of the board. To hang the board from my hook I just hot glued the ribbon onto the back of the board!

love it!!
