Mini {Clipboard} Frame

I have a board on Pinterest called Crafts I Need to Do. Currently, this board hosts 258 different crafts that I would like to try. That's a lot of crafts! A couple weeks ago CraftySteals had an amazing scrapbook paper collection by My Mind's Eye called Lime Twist that I fell in love with! When this paper pack arrived at my house it was even more gorgeous in person so I consulted my Crafts I Need to Do board and found the perfect project to use these papers for - The Clipboard Photo Display by Positively Splendid
The supplies are simple. Scrapbook Paper, ruler, pencil, Mod Podge, cheap throw-away foam brush, ribbon & embellishments as wanted. You could also paint your clipboard as in the original.
First you should make a template to accomodate the clip portion of your clipboard. I used my ruler to make the dimensions right onto the right side of my paper.
Once you cut out your clip portion save it and use it as a template in case you want to make more of these (which you will b/c they make awesome, yet cheap gifts)
To help the ribbon stay in place I used 2 paper clamps to hold it in place til the glue dried.
I am not really sure why I own Zebra paper clamps, but they could even be a fun addition to your finished displays as well!
I think I still want to add some ribbons to this frame but for now here is what it looks like. I just love this photo of my not-so-little-anymore 4 year old when she was just a baby!
The possibilities are pretty much endless when it comes to these fun photo displays. You could even make a larger sized clipboard into a showcase piece for your children's current art project - easy to just unclip and add in next week's masterpiece!
