What The?!? Wednesday | Washi Tape Tip

July 17, 2013 By Stacy 7 Comments

Welcome to my very first What The?!? Wednesday! I am going to try to bring you little craft tips once a week or as they come to me. So let me know if there is anything you’d like to know more  about. As they say – The more you know (the better you’ll craft)!! Ok, so I might have added that last part.
We’re are going to start out with an easy one today. Using washi tape to help you align mini alphabet stamps.

I wanted to make little tags with my new mason jar & mini alphabet stamps. I tried hard to line my little bitty letters up to make a pretty looking tag but it just wasn’t working. So I grabbed a roll of washi tape I had sitting at my desk and viola, straight lettering!

Just gather the letters you need, wrap them up in washi tape and you’re set!

Once you’ve inked your letters just stamp away!

I tied my tag to one of my new heritage canning jars from Ball Canning! Totally in love this these mason jars! The color just says, “Hey, it’s summer, sit on this rocking chair and sip for a little bit.”

How do you use washi tape to help around your house?

Hi Alisha, I put a link in the post, you just have to click on the words “mason jar” where I speak about the stamps and it will take you to Paper Source, where I purchased it!

This works just as easily with a rubber band — or with this: http://bit.ly/15Nhxwf
